Mile 671 - Thomas H. Kuchel Visitor Center, CA

There have been many great things to see on Hwy 101, but we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the best part:

The Drive

If you could choose, would you prefer stunning views overlooking the ocean or close up tour of dense National Park forests? Hold that thought...turns out, there's no need to choose.
Second Stop; Mile 671: Learn about Redwood Forests and all that you can find in Redwood National Park in this awesome visitor center. We have been really impressed by what you can learn at visitors centers, but this center wins the most helpful ranger award. This guy pulled out multiple colored highlighters to explain what we could find and even drew upside-down sketches. He guided us to the best hike and driving path that we’ll never forget. Stay tuned for pictures.
